Myogenic response

Hypoxia produces cerebral vasodilatation. Cerebral perfusion pressure is the difference between mean arterial pressure and intracranial pressure – for adequate perfusion it must remain above 70 mmHg. Hypercarbia produces cerebral vasodilatation.
